I feel like Its easier to be funny as a guy (I can be wrong). I feel like Its more difficult to be funny as a girl.

You should just be yourself and don't try too hard, cause that will make it look and feel unnatural.

Also when guys talk about a girl with humor they mostly want a female that laugh about their jokes.
Girls on the other hand want guys with humor, which means the guys are making good jokes they can laugh about ^^

Hmm, try swearing a bit more when you joke, be like "one of the guys". I always found women who are all polite and perfect like to be annoying and harder to be around since then I have to watch how I'm talking and phrasing sentences

Either you have it or you don't. Only thing I can recommend is to loosen up. Everyone that gets to know me thinks I'm hilarious yet strangers think I'm dull.
