What do you think about the girl who is beating you in a workout, can share weight with you, wrestles, is cocky in her abilities, and likes when people notice her biceps? (May or may not have just described myself.) OK, that's me.
But I've been told that my hobbies are unattractive to boys, that they are too intimidated, or that their masculinity is threatened, so they wouldn't want to be with a girl who could beat them up. What do you think? What if that girl asked you out? Would you ask her out?
You might intimidate some guys but some guys like it. I am into fitness. now since my 20s ( 44 now) i let myself get out of shape and have been trying to get back to my bodybuilding shape since the last few years and there as been a bit of a yo ho as my wife no two ways about it would be called fat by the average guy. I have often heard the "no offense but how did you marry her with some of the girls you dated" My answer was she asked me out ( most of my experiences have been initiated by the female) and i accepted. We dated and we hit it off and were together long enough I figured we should get married. After college i figured if i was with a girl over a year i would probably propose unless something very major goes wrong. Thing with her is she is not remotely into fitness and if something goes wrong it will happen to her. SHe has very sensitive skin and actually gets rashes and irritation. She does not eat right, but does not pig out. Matter of fact she does not really eat enough so i told her if she has to lose weight i am really concerned as she can't really eat less as most people would to lose weight. The only activity she can do is swini.
If i were single and your age i honeslty would love a woman into fitness. Now for both parties there can be jealousy issues depending on the couple. Now i have always found women i dated attractive but also told i had weird tastes so i never really felt intimidated by other guys taking them. If somehow i am ever single again or widowed That is something i would think of as there are women who like a little bit of jealousy but others who totally hate it. I understand some, but not to the point it gets pathetic.
Why not. I mean it never looks good male or female to be except excessively bulging all over the place. Some take it way too far. But I see no reason that you should not be able to do as you wish. 2 if you wish to build your body then do so. I think we live in an age where such things are finally considered to be acceptable as a young woman. You have the freedom to choose your own life and your own path. And if you wish to build your body by all means do what is good for you. Do what is good for you and those who will follow you will follow you. With lock your older friends will stay loyal. But that's their choice. Don't be overly heartbroken if change happens as a result of those that are unwilling to accept your choices. But at the same time Embrace their choice to do as they will themselves.
I know you asked for guys to reply, but honestly? I think that's super dope. I think you should keep doing what you love and to hell with other people opinions. If your S/O isn't happy with it then I suggest getting a new one.
I would have issue with the cockiness, which usually comes with arrogance... Personally, I have nothing against (physically) strong woman, I grew up as 90 lb asthmatic until about the 10th grade, so I was always weaker... Point is that for most guys it's either the aesthetic/look, or the personality that is a turn off. If a woman looks like she's a dude or her torso looks like it's gonna pop off her waist (think extreme body builder females). The personality, at least in my experience, of a strong woman is usually arrogant, solely focused on the fitness, or lacking in intelligence. Most men want a woman, as in an actual female who acts like a female, as in womanly (varies by person's definition). So basically, if you have a decent personality and are an actual woman, there won't be any real problems, just bare in mind that not all guys like a strong woman in this sense.

Lets start with this "that they are too intimidated, or that their masculinity is threatened, so they wouldn't want to be with a girl who could beat them up." none of these are reasons that guys find "strong" girls unattractive. To actually lift more than me, etc. a girl has to look like a gorilla. Not that I am some very strong guy, but males are just built that way. So if a girl actually lifts more than me, she has to look like a man. Men are not attracted to women that look like men, end of story.
I don't mind girls being strong and lifting, they usually look good when they work out some. But ngl, haven't met a girl yet that can keep up with me.
Ngl, I'd date you or a girl like you, I'd like a girl that actually wants to work out with me. But I do 170 lbs on preacher curls, able to bench 310, and can do around 400 lbs on legs. So, having a girl that can lift a little doesn't threaten my masculinity. I think you just need to get with a guy that is confident enough and can compete with you.
Women like that don't exist. And if they do, they're taking so many steroids they look more like men. But that's just because i've been working out for 9 years now. And even within my weight class, am considered quite strong. I deadlift 430 Lbs and weigh 175 Lbs at 10% bodyfat.
However, as far as relative strength for a woman goes. I really don't care, if she can squat 400 Lbs, cool. If she can only squat 150 Lbs that's also cool. I do however appreciate muscle on a woman. Muscles really bring out a woman's curves, make her figure nicer.
Men are naturally attracted to femininity not masculinity. You use the word intimidated but the truth is that they aren't attracted to a masculine female. Its not that they are threatened; they are not attracted to you. Using terms like intimidated and threatened is a way of trying to manipulate others to see the boys as the problem instead of accepting the truth about nature.
There is a lot of variation in sexual attraction. Some men are so attracted to masculinity that they are gay. There will be a small group of guys who might find you attractive but the bottom line is that the majority won't and its not because the boys are bad and need to be re-educated, its because you aren't what they are looking for.
Lipstick lesbians might find you attractive though.
Another issue that you face is that YOU may not be attracted to the guys that do find you attractive.
If it is the crazy steroid type of mussle than no. I think that looks bad on every gender.
The only trait you listed that I wouldn't like is the cockey and likes when people notice her biceps. I don't really like people who act like that, man or woman, so I wouldn't want to date someone like that. Also I'm ignoring the part that you are describing yourself because you are 17, so if my response is directed at you it is kinda creepy.
I think it's great. My wife. when I married her, had such strong hands that she could open a wide-mouth vacuum pickle jar with her bare hands! And she could always beat me at arm-wrestling. I learned a trick, which was to tell her a joke while arm-wrestling with her. When she laughed (which I loved) she had no strength and I could easily win!

I met one of my exes in martial arts class, she had high grade when I started, but I cought up.
I liked our flights on a matt together...
I had another one, but with her we only been going to gym together, she was not able to lift as much as me, but she had visible biceps muscles and was proud of it...
I like women that do sports/ martial arts or at least gym.
For woman to beat man who trains is especially same thing, he has to be somehow impaired, giving in, or old... Yes those avarage nobodys or office workers with no exercises should be no issues.
I could see you as a pretty neat friend. I've no clue about asking you out though. I'd probably try and compete with you (you never know lol), but as a romantic partner, it would reduce my interest in you if I'm completely honest.
As for being with a girl who is stronger than me and who could "beat me up", along with my masculinity being threatened would be missing the issue at least from my perspective. And besides, while you may have strength, I've got speed 👌
Having such a strong girl would be really cool but she should be a nice and kind hearted person... I mean... the compassion and politeness is always liked by every guy I guess 🙂 it wouldn't be intimidating for me as she has the strength that she got by her hard work and I'd love to be with her🙂
The ones who live and breathe gym life to the point of obsession, or make their bodies look disgusting in the pursuit of body building are another story entirely and I avoid them like the plague.
To be honest with you I haven't really met many women who could really consistently do a workout I've created. I also don't wrestle ( I fight ) and I find cockiness and arrogance to be a turn off.
Them being strong or having some muscle doesn't bother me though.
I admire and respect their passion to build their strength. If a girl is stronger than me, I don't see the big deal, they do exist and I am aware of it. Just because a girl is much stronger than the average man does not mean that she wants to beat up everyman she comes across. She is more than her muscles, she's a normal girl behind those muscles. If that girl asked me out and if I was single, I would be ok with getting to know her, she could be a sweet person.
The problem is not that we are intimidated or feel less masculine around you. The problem comes that we really don't find muscles in girls attractive. It's not nice to touch a girls arm and feel her bicep it really isn't.
Another reason since you act cocky might be just your attitude. No one likes a cocky person.
I find it unappealing, but I don't feel like my masculinity is being threatened, nor do I feel intimidated. This would be true even in the case of other guys supposedly threatening my masculinity. But a girl like that doesn't fall within my preferences.

I don’t mind athletic but I prefer girls who are on the smaller more feminine looking side so I can feel more masculine in the relationship. Are you a varsity wrestler by the way? I wrestled and muscular girls always intimidated me a little even though I’m also pretty fit and muscular.

It depends how masculine she is. If she looks like Hulk then no or very manly. Is she is femine and has some muscles then okey. Honestly I dont like and think many men dobt like strong women not just physicly but by character. Because they are bosy and they think they know best. I wouldn't like to go to relationship with such girl. Just sayjng facts
Partnering with a strong girl doesn't mean you are weak. I always appreciate a stronger partner as it opens too many doors to have fun with eachother in more ways.
Men usually dont acknowledge it publicly sometimes but deep down in isolation they won't mind usually. If you are able to strike a balance between cute and strong, its a deadly combo. Things can go on 🔥🔥 if my partner is able to bring all her strength out
I do like fit, strong and flexible women a lot. Maybe not too over-buff, but your picture is all right. I wouldn't be intimidated by physical strength, despite myself being kinda skinny and not into sports. If we get along without constant power because of that - it's ok. I don't think that physical traits like that would define relationships. They only affect physical attractiveness and fit girls are very much in my taste. Oh, and play-wrestling is great.
It all depends on her personality. If she is someone I like, I don't mind. Besides, wrestling and strength can be fun in bed too. As long as she does not plan on using that against me, I'm fine. Besides, it could be very nice to share hobbies together too.
If she's in peak form, she could probably beat an average guy. A guy at the same level of fitness will obviously be stronger but the average dad bod guy would probably lose against someone like her.
In a situation where a fit and strong woman were to fight an average or below average man, she'd win by strength alone. Considering her size as in the picture, I know friends of mine who'd go down in a couple of punches from her.
You post as under 18, so not a lot I can really say, except that I respect women, and think they are at least equals, and maybe I might have been with some, athletic ones, and had a very good time together! :)
I just happen to be one of the lucky guys who enjoy working out;And if to have a work partner as my girl friend or wife, then would love it. Since if she is strong then it makes me fell happy that she can protect ma kids 💏and herself if am not around. As long as she does not look way extreme like those extreme 😲bodybuilders. So Keep on working out and the right guys who fear nothing will come to you.
I don't like masculine girls I don't feel attracted to them. We could be friends but nothing more than that.

Yeah I love strong girls. I had a thing for powerlifting girls back in high school, still kinda do. I was never strong and never got to lift 35lb weights in bench. I don’t mind being beaten by a girl. Will I try to beat her? yes, but I’ve never let it go to my head, or hurt my feelings.
Attractive people are attractive. If it makes her happy go for it. If it covers up insecurity that would be an issue. ... ... Pectoral muscle can artificially inflate breast size so if I were a boob man maybe that would be an issue.
It's a matter of opinion. Personally, I like a strong woman. Honestly, it depends on whether or not the guy wants to be the dominant one in the relationship.
All women have their charm, i guess this ones charm is the way she takes care of her body and shows a certain commitment and discipline. Which can be hot too 👌
I mean if she's presenting it like it's a selling point, then it doesn't really do anything for me. But if she can handle herself in a physical altercation, it's good to know, coz i won't have to worry as much about her being assaulted or anything
Also it's worth noting that muscle strength and muscle mass are two different things. I'd be turned off if she has physique like Abby from The Last of Us 2 lol. But if she's normal/slim build and has high strength output, then it's a non factor. Im neither attracted to nor repulsed by her physical strength, I'm more interested in the proportions and size of her body ciz that's what triggers the visceral sexual attraction (among other things, like being flirty or having intelligent opinions on a range of subjects etc)

I'm not a muscle guy and I find it a turn on. But I'd be embarrassed to have her out lift me in public. Embarrassed and extremely turned on as well. Are you aware of that emotion? I'm not sure what it's called.
I admire them... to be a strong girl one has to workout really hard. If such girl ask me out I'd be over the moon. I'd challenge myself to lift her up and kiss her.

I think it's quite attractive. I like competition. Besides strong girls will also motivate guys to be strong. But strength isn't the only thing I look for in a girl. Personality definitely matters. I personally like girls who I can learn more from.
I don’t see why anybody would want a mentally *weak* girl.
And I like fit women.
Although it may be too much if they get too muscly, or is too much into it. But hey, I’m sure some guys like that too!

I'm all for them. If I could find a girl who I can befriend like that I sincerely hope they help me get in shape. ... Also, depending on how muscly (not too much but she's got abs), they can be SERIOUSLY hot.
Not interested in women stronger than me, personally. I don't find them repulsive, but I don't like the dynamic of dating someone who could beat me in an arm wrestling match.

It has never happened but it it did, it wouldn’t bother me in the least. My ex was a lifter and the woman I am seeing now also lifts. Frankly I prefer women who do.
I don’t see anything wrong with it at all. I think it’s amazing that she values her fitness and strives to achieve her goals. It doesn’t make me feel like less of a man because she’s strong and it shouldn’t.
