She touched my crotch purposefully, why this behaviour?

There is one distant aunt of mine who was sitting beside me while I was driving a car yesterday and she grabbed my crotch until it got hard. I had to stop the car and asked her what she was doing. She touched it again and I removed her hands. Then she purposefully kisses me inside the car and made me touch her ass forcefully in her denim shorts. Uncle left her in January and I feel she is forcefully quenching her thirst.

Ohhh boy. Seeing as you're an adult, you can at least actively avoid her. By that I mean no contact and all that stuff. I hope she doesn't know your address. If she does, then you're screwed (pun fully intended).

If it gets really bad then don't hesitate to file a lawsuit if you don't want her to pursue you. I know her partner left her, but that's her problem and it doesn't justify her actions.

File a lawsuit. That's sexual harassment if you did not give consent for it and especially with the fact that she's your aunt you really should take action and call her out.

She's had her husband leave a few months ago, that's why I'm a bit sceptical about filing a lawsuit.
