What is so bad about bras? Which would you prefer; no bras ever, or better fitting, more comfortable bras? What's the male equivalent of a bra? Thanks.

This is a very interesting question for me because it reminds me of the time my boyfriend and roommate's boyfriend was complaining that every time we went back to our dorm room the first thing we did was remove our bras.
Their complaint was that we took it off not to necessarily make out with them which is what they would expect would happen but we just took it off and sat around lounging never noticing their hard-ons.
🤷 Well after all day of wearing it no we weren't thinking of their hard-ons we were thinking of getting those lovely fantastic tools off our bodies.
Bras are amazing at time...
Now how are bras not amazing...
Now let's add two rare situations I found myself in.
Now let me go back the original story I had started about the boyfriends in college. I can't recall the exact details but we ended up making a dare and bet and we won the women and we decided because we were tired of them complaining about us having to remove our bra that they would have to go 2 hours wearing a bra and they would have to walk around campus with it on now they were really good sports about it and they even loved the way it looked underneath their T-shirts because in their own words it made them look buff and they did pretty good and had their laughs and kicks about it but let me tell you they did not last the two hours in the bra it was about 30 minutes in and one of them already started to complain that it was pinching him.
Bottom line by the time they got back to our dorm room they were apologizing forever picking on us for never wanting to keep the bras on. they realized sure it could give you a nice look and in their case it made them look as if they were buff and had frontal muscles but they also realized just how badly a bra can become a vice grip.
Thank you very much for the mho 😊
You talk too much and steal the MJO. Good job!
Ok, here's the reality- women love and hate them at the same time.
They look good and make women feel confident (especially push-up bras.) That's why women spend so much on them. Its the equivalent of wearing socks and shoes in your own home- it doesn't actively hurt or cause discomfort, it just feels so good to take off.

You don't even have to have big boobs to know they are uncomfortable. That is the first thing I take off when I get home. We all look forward to that moment when we get home at the end of the day, kick up our feet, and commence the Netflix binge for the night. Work or school is over for the day and all you're focused on is relaxing. But before tuning into Serial or starting a new season of Gilmore Girls, there's one thing that every woman does: Get undressed. For some, their first instinct is to release the daily set of chains that is the bra. For others, going home is specifically a pants-free zone, so ripping those bad boys off is a priority.

Everyone's different, but what if you had to guess as to what item of clothing most women take off first when they get home? Pants? Bra? Tights? Everything? Well, luckily for you, I took most of the guess work out of it for you and surveyed more than 100 women, asking what item they strip off first when they walk in the door after work. Among options of pants, bra, tights, Spanx and shirts, what do you think the majority of women chose? There was also an "other," write-in option, which I should mention—shout out to the person who wrote, "Pants and bra as I spin in a circle like Wonder Woman." You go, girl.
Here are the results from the survey. Hint: Pants won. No one is surprised.
et home.
Copy or not. My bra is the first thing when I took off when I was working in an office. Now when I am working from home It doesn't apply.
Wow, "breast prisons" is what some women call it? Interesting.
In Filipino, we generally use the English 'bra' for the term. Decades ago, the government-agency Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (「Commission on the Filipino Language」)… or 1 of its other similarly-named predecessors tried to popularize a native-sounding word using Tagalog root-words: ᜐᜎᜓᜋ᜔ᜐᜓᜐᜓ ("salumsuso"; "sah-loom-soo-soh";「bra」; lit.「catcher (of) boobs」🤣). Yeah, as you can imagine… In all my years, I have never heard anyone use it in normal, everyday life. (I'm not even sure how the last part is pronounced.)
And yes, they also had counterpart-words for 'panties' (lit.「catcher (of) female-genitalia」), as well as 'chair' (lit.「catcher (of the) butt」)… which was even more stupid, since we already have our own native Tagalog ᜂᜉᜓᜀᜈ᜔ ("upuan"; "oo-pooh-AN"; from the verb ᜂᜉᜓ "upo" "oo-POH" 「to sit」) for it, plus 2 foreign loanword alternatives in English 'chair' & Spanish-derived 'silya' we can freely use.
Leave it to government to choose words for the people while they were sitting on their catchers. 🙄 It makes me wonder if any of them were wearing any catchers or consulted any who did, when they thought of this.
I asked that, and a girlfriend, one I totally adored, took me out to VS, and got one, that fit, as a guy, and she said, WEAR that, all day, and then we will talk!
OK, it ITHCES LIKE FCK ALL! Something tight, all around, and the FUCKING WIRE!!! HOLY SHIT!! The WIRE, alone, and I am just hating this thing, in two hours!! Wearing something, like this TORTURE device, all day, well, I have a better understanding, and much more compassion, and yeah, OK, she yells at me, or is 'bitchy' sometimes, but it is this FUCKING torture DEVICE!!!
I saw something, a link, and Nike, developing this really good one, and almost all women, on the team!!
Because underwire is torture.
Small breasted girls don't have to deal with it - they can buy bras without, and when they do have it, a straighter, boxier shape won't dig into their rib cage as much.
Bras look nice, but they can be hella uncomfortable.
And Victoria's Secret has the thickest gauge underwire on the market. It's thick, hard, and inflexible. I've researched it. How? By ripping open various bras at home and comparing the wire. And their stuff is overpriced for what it is.
I guess I am different in that I love a good fitting bra. Sure, it feels good to take off, for a while, but try running without a sports bra or jump on a trampoline. I have always found them to be comforting in a sense, a boost to confidence. But, as some have mentioned, if your skin is irritated they can be torture.
Because bras can be constricting they're uncomfortable, not everything that "looks sexy "feels" sexy or comfortable to wear... And for larger breasted women who need more support, even less so...
@Brainsbeforebeauty Absolutely spot on as usual.
@Brainsbeforebeauty A very eye-opening experience, and since that time, I've had a lot of respect, care, and concern, with every one I have dated, and how these things can influence EVERYTHING in your life!!
No wonder that after the coat, in cold places, like where I live, the bra is the SECOND thing to come off, when she gets home!!!
@JackSmy 👍👍
@Brainsbeforebeauty I was actually quite impressed, the first time I saw a woman take off her bra, without taking off her shirt!! Do you know how to do that? It still makes me smile, when someone does it!! :)
@JackSmy I'm sure all females do
I'm pretty flat and I only wear sports bra, so I go through less uncomfort than lots of girls, however still, it's super uncomfortable. My right boob hurt like a bitch the past 3 days so I had to skip it. The only good coming from them is the aesthetic look.
Fully flat chest?
@aieeazumui More like very small.
That is awesome! AA cup?
Chest almost similar to a teen boy?
Bras are uncomfortable, and it makes my food take much longer to digest. Plus when it's summer it's much easier to sweat on that area.
I prefer not wearing a bra BUT my nipples are not for the public eye, plus it'll hurt to run withouth a bra so I MUST wear a bra 🙄 ugh
Honestly In not too sure. I mean I enjoy wearing them. If anything It makes them feel better too. XD don’t want them floppin all over the place haha. I’d understand for women that have really big boobs. Too much pressure on your back.
Because I have sensitive ass skin that’s easily irritated so I always end up with sore marks from them. And there is no male equivalent to a bra.
Because we need bras for support but they’re just so uncomfortable to wear.
Well because they make us really really uncomfortable and one can feel so relaxed and free when their body is not tightened or confined in something
I personally feel free and anytime when i have to wear one almost all the time i stay so irritated
Just try wearing one yourself for a whole day, and then come back and tell us how it feels.
🤣🤣 right.. Best answer here!!😅
You tell him, Emma.
Wire strapped tightly around your rib cage every time you go out is so not the same as a soft piece of fabric around your neck. Get some perspective.
If we didn't wear them, nipples would be exposed, breasts would sway and bounce, and you men would be so distracted always looking at them. Don't berate and downvote us for answering you honestly. You're the one who asked the question here.
This is just typical of not having empathy for the other sex. Since you don't personally experience it, you can't sympathize? Don't answer that.
@AmandaYVR Thank you Amanda for your amazing and very kind support (pun not intended) hopefully between us all, we might just have got some sense knocked into him. x
@MCheetah I don't think they were trying to be hostile but wearing a tie is not quite the same as wearing a bra... Try wearing a bra that has underwire... Now imagine that underwire coming out of the material and poking you or puncturing skin.. Now imagine that happening in a place where you can't easily take that undergarment off whereas if your tie became too constricting you could easily loosen it or take it off altogether without feeling indecent in public...
She's probably worried that her boobs are not big enough for men to attract them then she goes to the hospital to get them breastplanted. so the men would start chasing her more 😑. That's what Stephanie McMahon did so triple h will always keep chasing her 😑.
Like wearing underwear. I need the support for my boys, but theyre not overly comfortable either. Same for the tits
I don't know, I like bra's.
Cause they're just not comfortable
I love bras!
because they are super uncomfortable
I don't.
Those pictures make my peen tingle
Wear a pushup cup
