Because they hate  not  wearing bras more. Breasts are HEAVY, especially if large, and they don't have muscles.  That's not to let them off the hook entirely for their sartorial decisions- women often get what they think will look best on them with little regard to comfort, and the lack of pockets in women's clothing is due largely to women not buying clothes that DO have pockets (incidentally, if a woman ever gets a dress that DOES have pockets, she'll gleefully run around and show everybody, with the same eager enthusiasm you see from a four-year-old boy who found a cool rock, even if she's both formal and proper  and  tough as nails. It's adorable- but don't tell her that!). While I'm convinced that there's a way to design bras that are more comfortable, especially for long-term wear, I know that someone would've stepped up and done it if it were simple.

Social norms, but many women like the silhouette that bras give them. Bras also prevent women's nipples from showing through shirts, which I'm sure gives a certain peace of mind to our large breasted friends.

It’s one of those things that’s kind of a catch-22. No one cares if you do or don’t wear a bra in the comfort of your own home but really only women who are b cup and smaller can get away with not wearing a bra out and about in public since it’s not as noticeable. Women who have bigger breasts don’t need them moving loosely where people can notice and have that either turn into unwanted male attention, or wear a bra when they’re very busty and still have it turn into unwanted male attention. Busty women in general are kind of fucked over considering how much society has sexualized boobs that men ask questions like “If women hate them so much, why wear them?” As if they don’t want to find a girl to talk to in order to imagine what she looks like going without a bra in public because it gets their rocks off.

I know few women who actually hate bras. Most of my peer group just regard them the same way they regard socks. Of course, they've had years to adjust to them, and the ones who do hate them don't have the right fit and they're too stubborn to put the time into finding the right size. They go with "it hooks and my boobs fit in the cups so it fits," not realizing that there's more nuance to it.

If you have the right fit you don't even notice you're wearing one. In fact, I keep forgetting to take mine off when I go to bed.

People say your a slut and attack you if you don’t wear bras. I had a male church leader talk for two months about how I was a slut who did not wear bras cause I mentioned 4 times online I had an infection on my breasts and was waiting for it to heal so went 5 weeks without wearing a bra. Everyone knew why I did not wear a bra because I told them, he was just trying to humiliate me because he’s a liar.

Because it makes them feel beautiful, and bras are beautiful to look at, just from a creative standpoint. It's so fun looking at all the different colors to choose from when buying them. Plus, it's just not really allowed to go braless and have your nipples showing.

Women wear the most uncomfortable shit I've ever seen in my life. I think they put how they look over comfort to be honest. Like, yoga pants look good, but imagine wearing that skin-tight shit through a whole day... sounds horrible. God I'm glad I'm just a dude and I can wear baggy clothes and nobody questions that. All that against the skin shit sounds horrible to me.

That’s one of those things you have to do in life that you don’t want to do but it’s necessary especially for bigger breasted women. Or saggy boobs that need that lift (like mine so they not hitting the floor when I walk😁😂)

When I first got boobs I hated bra's, literally couldn't stand wearing them. But over time when I was in high school I finally got used to them. I would never walk around no bra on, they are too big lol..

I don't use them outside of sports, and that's a sports bra.  Only exception outside of sports is if it is noticeable i am braless and the situation is socially unacceptable to be braless.
