I personally don't think you should think much of it. It's just weird humor that we, all humans, develop as we get older. And I'm pretty sure it has to do with cartoons like Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes and more, where violence were represented comedically. Because looking back at those shows violence super expressed but was hidden by the humor. I guess you can also say that, getting hit in the nuts, and then laughing is a bit of stereotypical humor that has developed and just sticks now with some of us. I don't laugh right away, because it does seem painful, but if the person is okay and then I'll laugh and make a joke like, "Goddamn, bet you weren't expecting that." just to lighten the mood.
Same reason people laugh when they fall or slam into a door because they weren't paying attention.
It's one of those painful, or embarrassing moments, that are typically pretty funny.
Well girls and guys alike laughed at me not too long ago when I got tapped in the crotch by my friend and dropped to the floor holding my groin. I, too, tried desperately to pretend like it didn’t hurt that bad, but I couldn’t help but fall because of how intense the pain was. The reason it’s funny is because I can take a punch pretty well, but even a tap to just the right spot can drop me instantly. Every woman can bond over having the vagina as a weak spot, and every man can laugh when attention is brought to it. The reverse is true with balls and men. It was just funny because it was an “it’s my only weakness” type of scenario - I’m fairly tough, but even I was brought down by light force to the crotch. It’s just ironic. And to add insult to injury... I farted after a couple minutes of writhing around on the ground. Loudly. And of course, it was just as the laughter was dying down, so they went from laughing that I was incapacitated by a tap to laughing because I farted. At least THAT didn’t happen to you.
