Say you never knew she wore wigs until she told you one day. They look very natural and people think it's her real hair. She really only has about three inches of hair with a really unique, awesome texture. They're called coils, tiny spiral curls that get larger as they grow.
Long story short. I have African ancestry. I'm not full black, but my African Ancestry is dominant in my hair genes. I started getting relaxers, a chemical that straightens the hair, as a young child. Now that I've grown up, I'm learning that they were preventing my hair from being as thick, full, and healthy as it could be! Also, that I want to embrace my natural hair texture! The trick is that you have to cut all of your relaxed hair off. So I had to cut it all of. I only had like five inches of hair. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but the texture is amazing! I’ve never seen anything like it. I can’t find any pics online that look similar to it. It’s like tiny spiral curls and as they grow they get looser and looser and lay down in all different directions. It will look pretty once it grows out and I can’t wait to proudly sport my mane of hair! It’s gonna be huge and curly! Honestly though, I’m not confident enough to walk around with three inches of hair so I’ve been wearing wigs. The wigs are either wavy or tight curls. A lot of people think it’s my real hair. I’ll only be wearing them until my hair grows out. However, when I get a boyfriend, I don’t want to be fake with him or him feel like I’m misleading him ya know? I want to tell him about it, so I’m just curious, honestly what would you guys think? Given the circumstances? Thanks in advance!
