I hate men. I think it's more that i am mad at myself for being heterosexual and so i can't get into a relationship because i don't think a man can be completely loyal. Nothing personal. Ik it's biological for men to want many females to mate and check out. I personally have insecurities and trust issues. I do not even think about other men when i start to talk to some guy. I even don't check out guys much or flirt when i am single. So i just cannot get over the fact that my man would always be on the lookout for better girls.

Guys, why did you oppress women since the dawn of time? Why did you ensure that they would not get educated until later in the 20th. century? Why do you still oppose equal rights to women? Why do you believe that you are superior to women? Why do you solely see sexual objects in them?

I think it's also important to remember young men today aren't their fathers. They can't be punished for a crime their ancestors committed. Most young men today actively take part and support feminism. Of course there are exceptions.

Well you must remember that the standards set for men and women in the past weren't just oppressive on women but also men. Men had to behave a certain way to have respect in the society.
But beyond that if you look even further into history, before organised Western civilizations took hold and humans lived in smaller colonies, women weren't oppressed the way they were in the west. A lot of the communities in the east followed matriarchy.
Even today when we look at the tribes in Africa where their culture remains largely untouched, in most of them, women aren't mistreated they were in the west.
Most of the oppressive cultures like misogyny and anti LGBTQ started in the west and spread to the rest of the world during colonial rule

@Bagyy Oppressive culture existed in the cave age when women did not really have much to say when a man wanted to abuse her. He just took her as a possession to beget her and that is why I say that women were oppressed since the dawn of mankind, starting as early as the Cro-Magnon and moving along the line to the Neanderthal and all the way to our civilization.

The Western civilization has just made the entire perception worse because it tried to hide the fact that women were oppressed along with other "sub-human" races that existed and that were traded as mere goods. Women and slaves were just goods and nothing more. Among white supremacists, this point of view still exists in the 21st. century.

Nah, the narrative in you're head is a little too skewed. The world isn't as black and white. Also, it is a fact that we have no hint whatsoever how women were treated during the Neanderthal age.
And later on, there were thousands of cultures that evolved in parallel. And a lot of them weren't oppressive.
I have said eastern culture cuz that's what we've learnt even in our psychology class.
Even Implicit bias in the east was found to be much lower in the east than in the west

Fact is that several archeological founds have revealed evidence of cranial trauma, particularly among women. The victims were predominantly of reproductive age and that violence is associated with capture, and perhaps "spousal" abuse were likely to have resulted in the observed injuries.

But it is true that we will never be able to fully assess what happened to women in those dark ages and that we have to rely on archaeologic discoveries.

Your observations will not change my point of view about the general misuse of women by men over the course of time.

However, nowhere did I mention in my reply that I hate men. I am just extremely cautious about them and avoid them whenever I can.

I will of course not put the entire gender in the same basket. That would not be very intelligent of me.

I don't hate men. But I like @Jayla2000 answer best. Most women don't hate men, but the ones who do probably have a very similar mindset to the men who hate women. They had one or a few bad experiences, and started hating all men as some sort of coping mechanism. Not a good coping mechanism, but I think that's what it is a lot of the time. Or, although I suppose this example is almost the same as the one I just said, they hear on the internet all these terrible things about specific men, and they just start to believe all men are that way. They hear so many stories about cheating, they think all men cheat. They hear so much about rape, they think all men are rapists. Most people don't like to admit they're wrong once they've been convinced of something and have been living with that belief for so long.
