Why did she hate that I was nonchalant towards her. When i'm naturally nonchalant guy?

I have this friend of 4+ years. We now work together. I wasn't having a good day to begin with and told her before i saw her. So i stayed to myself. She said something i didn't agree with. But i continued being nonchalant and to myself. I was in a good mood but i was just being myself. I'm a nonchalant guy.

This she later on told me she hated i was being nonchalant with her. She claimed i didn't talk to her but i spoke to other women. That was true. I had to talk to them about work related things. But if it wasn't work related i didn't say anything. Everyone could tell i wasn't in the mood. But she got mad because i was being nonchalant and she thought i would cheer up within the 8 hours but nope. I didn't talk to noone. That became a problem at the end of the shift and she told me how she didn't like how i was being nonchalant towards her (i didn't do it just towards her)

What is the big problem with me being nonchalant when i'm naturally a chill and laid back guy? Why did this bother her so much?
