Why do girls stare at other girls?

I notice girls staring at me like at my hair, or will check me out, like some girl was just staring at my hair roots while playing with her hair... it’s honestly really weird sometimes they look away really quickly when I look at them or sometimes they continue to stare.. why do they stare at me? I m not trying to sound conceited or anything but I’m generally curious

All kinds of reasons honestly. It could be something completely innocuous as just liking what you have done with your hair and feeling insecure about her own or it could be as extreme as her being interested.

My guess would be just a comparison thing. I tend to do the same thing even though I am also married to another woman. Sometimes I just think that another girl's hair is really cute that day and see if I get ideas for myself.

They either admire your looks and compare themselves with you or are just comparing. Maybe she was insecure about her roots so took more attention or was just admiring yours

Could be a number of reasons, good or bad. Don't let a few stares bother you, it'll likely happen a lot.
