How to deal with girlfriend overly concerned with me potentially seeing skimpy bikini girls at the beach?

In summary, my girlfriend is very insecure about her body. She is a little heavier than the average girl but I like her body. Regardless, she is always very worried that I will see, want to look at, or openly stare at other girls with stereotypical attractive features (thin waists, plump butt, etc). We're going to a popular beach soon where I know many girls wear thong bikinis and other skimpy cheeky type things. I don't stare but it's hard not just to see this when it's right in front of me. How do I address my girlfriend's preoccupation with this? Me just saying that I only want and desire her has not really worked so far. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Been there done that. Being with low self esteem girls ain't easy for any man. I encouraged her to work on her health and physique if she gets jealous but she's too lazy to do so. She took it seriously a few time and now she's my ex. Not worth it. you can tell her shit like it's hard for you to not see stuffs when they are all over the place or but i love you the most. I personally don't like sugar-coat these issues because they will comes back eventually if you take your relationship serious. If she takes it serious and think you will cheat on her, it's pretty disrespectful i would say because it means she doesn't understand you and diminish your opinions/ feeling.

Start complimenting her body more often. Tell her that she is sexy and when you see her in her bathing suit on the beach, let her know how sexy she is. Most people want to feel like they are the only ones in the room to their significant other. Make her feel that way :).

Honestly girls like her annoy me. Just enjoy yourself when you're out there. Your man likes you so don't focus on anyone else. If thongs bother her then she should do things like workout so she can wear a sexy bikini too instead of being jealous.

i think you need to sort of give her the reality of the situation

you see attractive women every day of your life, we all do. she sees attractive men every day of her life. but clearly neither of you are so unable to control yourselves that you suddenly drool and jump on every attractive person you see. so she has to just be OK with the fact that there are pretty people in the world (including her) and you are unable to avoid seeing them. but just because you see them doesn't mean anything comes of it. you are with her and she has to simply trust that you chose her and are with her.

but at some point there isn't much more you can do right? most people having insecurities but we have to manage them in order to exist. if we are unable to do that then it makes relationships extremely difficult if not impossible. remind your girlfriend that we all have insecurities, maybe even remind her of some of yours (whatever they may be), but we have to find a way to overcome them or at least not let them consume us

It really shouldn't bother her.. but don't check people out in front of your chick... fair enough if they are right in front of you but to turn or follow them with your eyes as they walk off is trash behaviour and I would hit my man in the back of the head if I seen that..

2, feeling bad about her body leads to anxiety and eventually avoidance of sex, which once the "newness" wears off or she has you hooked, will overtake whatever sex drive remains
