I've had woman roll their eyes when I looked at them. It did not mean I was an idiot. She rolled her eyes because of the situation she was in at the time I made eye contact with her. She actually rolled here eyes as to say "The person she was with was being dumb".
The reason I know that is She caught up to me about 20 minutes later and explained it and did not want me to think she rolled them at me.

So it depends what a person is doing when they roll their eyes.
