Girls, Do women compare their boyfriends/partners looks to their friends or colleagues partners?

I read an interesting comment today where a girl noticed her boyfriend was better looking that her friends boyfriend, and it surprised me, as I didn't think girls cared about this stuff (male good looks).

So girls is this common? Would you compare your own man to a friends new boyfriend when you meet him?

No, I don’t compare my husband with my friends husbands or boyfriends. Clearly my husband is cuter, smarter, funnier, and better.

Yeah my ex always told me that girls are not as bothered about looks as men, that girls can look past that if a guy has other qualities. So I was a bit surprised to see that other question earlier today, it made wonder.
