Girls, Why do you stare at a guy without smiling even when you have a boyfriend?

While working away I happened to look up and I noticed an already attached female colleague (who I like very much admittedly) was already looking at me while at a distance, her body was facing different direction with her head turned facing me without a smile on her face. She was definitely staring at me as no one else was around in my vicinty, we both stared at each other for probably at least 3 seconds without either of us smiling at one another before I continued with my work. Why would you girls do this, regards.

Are you sure she wasn’t just looking in your direction whilst thinking?
If she wasn’t smiling, I wouldn’t read too much into that. If a girl likes you, it’s written all over her face.

Most likely an accident. I've done that and have embarrassed myself and was like 'why is he staring at me" 😂
