I am friends with this girl. I started liking her a few months back. One day, we were hanging out and out of nowhere, she asked me "Are we intimate enough?". I was surprised by that so, a few minutes later I tried to cuddle with her and she didn't mind it. She just kept saying the same thing to me "omg, you're so romantic, you like me". When we were leaving, I told her that she should plan a date for us and she said "Ok, maybe". The next time we met I asked her what she meant by "Are we intimate enough?". She gave me a really vague explanation which didn't make any sense.
After that, one day, she called me and asked me for advice about this guy she has a huge crush on. I didn't like it because she knew that I like her, still she asked that. A few days later, we met in person, again she asked about that guy and asked me what she should text him cuz she wanted to meet up with him. I told her if she liked him so much she should just ask him directly. Same day, she told me that she doesn't like me at all and she sees me as a friend. I respected that I didn't say anything cuz I felt like she doesn't know what she wants.
Recently, she has been asking me about this other guy, who she met a few months back. She says that she likes him so much but only thing she doesn't like about that guy is that he just wants to have sex with her and that the guy doesn't want to do anything more. She expects that the guy should also try to get to know her. So, the thing that hurts is that even though she knows that I like her, all she wants to talk about is this guy she wants to sleep with. It almost feels like that she wants me to feel bad for liking her. So, now I have decided to tell her that it hurts when she talks about these guys and I'm gonna break the friendship.
So, I am curious, she went from "Are we intimate enough" to "I want this other guy to stay the next day after I sleep with him". If anyone has any idea about this kind of behavior, please try to explain. Thank You!
