I occasionally use the okie dokie term myself.
I find it not at all unusual, although I do sometimes get a strange look from some who hear me utter that sign of assent or affirmation.
I consider their attitude to be their problem, not mine.
I shall continue to use the term okie dokie as I see fit.
I don't often use it, but when I do, it feels appropriate to me, so I say, why not use it?
To me it conveys a feeling of not only assent, but light heartedness, as well.
Cheers to you and okie dokie to your heart's content!

Not at all!! That is Midwestern US language, and common!! I smile, when I hear that, thinking I know someone from near HOME!!
If you think it is "immature" you don't know regional language, and are just being offensive, because of your ignorance!
What Guys Said
If “okie dokie” were my most jocular expressions in everyday life, I would eat mine. Maturity cannot be play acted, as it will appear artificially expressed and false. Maturity is fully expressed by one that can let their hair down and let the sense of humor flow to a level of twisted if desired such that they are completely comfortable in their own skin. Those that live to an almost scripted format of expression are obvious and immediately raise my suspicions that something isn’t quite right with this person. Be yourself, because the one guarantee in life is, that your perception of yourself will never be one else’s perception of you no matter what. Why bother playing into another’s ego with second guessing self-perceptions, I say?
No, it just means 'I don't want to do it but I will.'
'Wear those fuzzy handcuffs while you slap me with your cock? Oakie doakie'I don't. It's certainly no more immature than me saying 'I couldn't give a scooby!'
I find it cute I like that kind of reply it also says they are interested in you and listening to whatever you said.
Naw, it’s different, not boring, monotonous, cliche or passé.
I still say it to my kids. They just look at me weird.
huh? I thought I was the only one that says that. I like it. :D
No way lol. It's kinda cute. :P One of my favourites used it today and I liked it ahaha. :)
