with enough of these qualities I think she's a dork if

when she's kinda goofy, and clumsly, she trips on things

and she's not lady-like

she doesn't know how to walk like a girl should

she doesn't care about her hair, it just looks plain and nasty

she says weird things that are out of place and has very little social savy

perhaps she wears think glasses, acne or braces or something.

but a girl dork isn't necessarily ugly

usually there's no emission of sexuality exuding from her

It the kinda girl you would look at and you can't imagine that she has sex

a good example of a cute girl dork would be Renae Zeleweger in that movie Bridget Jones Diary. But most girl dorks are not cute.

if she does some foolish/goofing/childish on purpose. i.e. play with her food try on some ridiculous clothing. typically something you get a chuckle out of

not knowing something that's common knowledge.

for example, I knew this cute girls that wasn't much of a movie goer, that didn't know that king kong dies at the end of the movie.

I get called something along those lines if I say something completely wrong or 'wuddle my mords' as my friend would say, trip over something, drink something from a carton and end up with it on my nose, sneeze (which I do in a really squeaky way), somehow get one bit of hair sticking up for no reason, start to fall asleep at any given time, miss a joke, miss the point of any sentence, finally get it ages later, talk about something and get really excited about it (like when a buy a videogame off eBay and it arrives in the post or something), actually pretty much anything I say or do actually haha...

The main feature of a dork is that they have a hard time understanding the subtlties of human interaction.

However, it's not used as an offensive term anymore really. Was the guy just having a playful jab at you?

Yeah he is playful and I usually don't take hints very well. I know he used to be attracted to me but I don't know about now. I never expressed to him that I like him and always talked to him about dating other guys. He started dating another girl and I started to ignore him. I saw him at an event and just plainly ignored him even when he tried to get my attention. Then he texted me that I'm a dork. He calls me dork all the time. I don't know what that means...but you just explained it.

Forget the words now. You are obviously thinking too hard about this comment. I think you guys are just friends for the reasons you've described. He's being nice, and friends regularly give each other playful insults because they are comfortable doing that.
