Do guys not like black girl noses and black girls with dark skin? D: !

Ok, so I know not every single black girl is going to have the same type of nose lol! Afro centric looks typically involve more wide noses. Usually when a black girl gets praised for her beauty, she looks more Euro centric (more European/white).

Like Beyonce, she wears a blond weave, she has a thin nose that's more like a white person, and she's light skinned. Halle Berry; she's biracial and light with a more thin nose. Lauren London; light skinned with a thin nose.

Even growing up in high school, black guys and guys who weren't black would look at the mixed chick or light skinned black girl and say she was hot, but never the darker one. It seems like whenever a guy is into a black girl, what they really mean is a light skinned biracial black girl with a good perm Or or a long weave who 9/10 times doesn’t look Afro centric (possess African features; our natural hair texture, dark skin, broad nose, etc).

It seems like the only thing black women are appreciated for by the media and most of society is our bodies. It’s pretty discouraging. I’m a dark skinned black girl model with a broad, button nose. I love it but it seems, no matter what beauty I achieve, most guys just overlook it because I’m not light skinned with more white looks. I feel like I could be standing next to an average looking light skinned girl and most guys would notice her first or approach her. Especially in the black community!

I’m hoping someone will prove me wrong. Guys, just tell me, is it true? Be honest, when you think of hot black girls, do you just think of light skinned black girls, that look more white?
