Do white guys like light skinned black girls?

I'm just wondering because when ever I do see an interracial relationship such as this for example, I only see them with dark skinned black girls. And I'm light skinned of course and usually prefer or find white men more attractive just my preference.

The way I see it is they figure if they're gonna cross over they might as well go all the way. I've seen it many times. Very, very rarely have I seen a white man with a lighter skinned black woman compared to darker skinned women. Almost every white man/black woman couple that I've walked past the woman was dark skinned. Not that it's a bad thing but if you're attracted to someone, you're only going to naturallt wonder where you fit into their equation. :) Your question wasn't stupid. It's only stupid to the people that it doesn't concern. You're a lighter skinned woman that happens to be attracted to white men, so this interests you. Nothing wrong with being curious!

I don't think skin color matters as much as overall beauty. I see so many people talking about this light skin dark skin thing and it's odd because what does skin tone have to do with how you look? I know that in the black community there is a preference for redbones but if you take an unattractive lightskinned girl vs. a pretty darkskinned girl then team chocolate is winning. So to answer your question even though you do mostly see them with dark girls, if you're attractive to him and light, I doubt that will stop you. But then again I'm not a white guy so this is just my humble opinion

Personally it really doesn't matter to me,im a white guy and to me skin color isn't a problem.there are some of us out there that could care less if you are black white Hispanic Asian or any other race,as long as you have a great personality and attitude

I've heard and seen the opposite actually. While I'm dark and my boyfriend is white I have heard statements like "I would date her if she were lighter." My boyfriend just prefers darker skin. A lot of white guys say they would date a black girl...If she were light. Most men including black men share this same theory. Just find a guy who will like you just the way you are not because you're light skinned.

Thanks for your comment. It really touched me. I'm a light skinned multiracial woman of color (Asian, Black, Middle-Eastern and American-Indian). I have a preference for kind handsome White guys. I really hate it when they PREFER dark skinned women. It's not that I don't respect people's preferences.

It's just that Black and partially Black women of color come in SO MANY DIFFERENT varieties and I resent it when White guys who like Black girls only appreciate one portion of our flavor. That's the equivalent of stereotyping us in my honest opinion.

We don't don't just come in one skin tone, hair texture or eye color. Some of us like myself have narrow noses, straight hair, light skin and light eyes (even blue eyes). Ya know?
