Why do I have such a damaged view of women?

I can't help but pity them. It seems like between being the gender that has periods bears the burden of pregnancy and childbirth, more like to be harmed by men than men are by women, and the less powerful gender that none of them can be truly happy. I get it's absurd but I can't help myself.

not to mention that women as a whole can't make up their mind whether (1) they want equal rights to men and not be objectified; or (2) they want to continue having special privilege and be able to use their sex to get ahead in life

I'm proud to be a woman and wouldn't change my biological sex for nothing at all. I can see the beauty behind pregnancy, periods.. and even discriminations (like I know my worth)

It was difficult to explain also because Eng is not my first language. Okay, here's *some * advantages.

(Note: just based on my theory and personally speaking)
Context: Let's say I have been stressed and my brain is overload. The hippocampus is known to be a key brain area involved in the regulation of the stress response. The larger it is, the more it means you are recovering from a very stressful situation. But thanks to the drop of hormones (such as progesterone) occuring during menstruations (first day), the size of the hippocampus is decreasing. (Also to understand my point, it's important to know that the hippocampus is reportedly to be naturally larger in women). So reason number 1>
#1 I feel more intelligent. I am less anxious so I can think better

#2 my senses are heightened. (Depends on the individuals)
#3 I feel more attuned to how I feel. So I know what's good for me to eat, to do
#4You may know this but cramps can be painful and since I don't take painkillers, I have learned to have a high pain tolerance... and having high pain tolerance in life is, well.. quite useful, right?

Pregnancy is by far one of the most selfless things to do. Like is giving away your own energy (yes to feed the baby) and going through tough things (body modifications) for an another being. And that's beautiful.

So yes it's all about feminity, empathy etc

I think you're downplaying periods and especially pregnancy. They're miserable for most women.
