It's really context dependant.
Balls and nuts work all the time for 99% of cases (testicles and scrotum cover the remaining 1%), but sometimes I like to mix it up with more colorful expressions: bean bag, family jewels, plums, the boys, the sack... It's a very long list. But these terms only work in some situations. I can't say to my partner "I wanna suck your bean bag".
