I've noticed an uptick in women expressing the desire to ruin men, and it seems being a "witch" is just a way to mask misandry. Can someone explain?

What Girls Said
What makes you think women want to destroy men?
Not destroy. Just ruin or "bring down" in any way possible. I have this impression from reddit. Ex. r/FemaleDatingStrategy and r/witchesvspatriarchy
It seems that I either don't understand "patriarchy" or these are all just thinly-veiled concepts to explain a cause of offense.
All I can say is I have no intention of ruining me or bringing them down. I provide support and encouragement to my SO.
So, I can't really get on board with the theory. I'm sure there are women out there with poor intentions. Just like anything. You will find men that will bring women down and other way around.
Have no clue about this new trend as I have never met someone like that.
I understand that. It might be that I've hyperfocused on the negatives in a sense due to anxiety. Thank You for the response!
You are most welcome. Have a great day! 😊
