Girls, What are the reasons why you would block someone you cared about and was close to? Why would you do it? Would you unblock them in the future?

He/she would have to be very pushy and go too far. Such as lets say I go to bed after telling a guy I don't want to get serious, lets just be friends and if I wake up the next day with a 100 texts saying, please please, I'm sorry and whatever other shit.

Okay that is way too far, I see a pattern here... as it goes from begging usually to angry and almost threatening all while I'm asleep.

I'll give him a warning and if he persists, that is it blocked.

That makes sense. That would be uncomfortable receiving something like that after you had told him how you were feeling and what you wanted. What warning would you give him?

id block him as a joke, and unblock him again later, but i dont do that anymore because i know how it feels to be blocked. if i care about him and want him id unblock him yes.
i dont think I've ever actually blocked a guy friend that was close to me, if i stopped caring about him, id just not give him as much attention, but i wouldn't block him

like, for example, we usually joke about blocking each other if suppose, the other person likes something thats cringe, or does something cringe. or bad so we be like "if you drink soda instead of water I will block you."
or if I post a sexually aroused emoji which is super cringe, he knows I find it cringe too, but I post it as a joke, and then hed joke about blocking me if I post it again, and then I post it again. but he still doesn't block me.
well only if he's mad or not in the mood, then he would be upset and block, but then either in a minute or two, or if he blocked me before going to sleep, hed wake up and unblock. and most of the times message me a hi

other than that we block if we're SUPER super mad at each other

well, basically we're both afraid of actually being blocked by each other, and so if one of us does block the other, we get that feeling and punishment to not repeat that mistake again.

If he didn't like me and I didn't trust my feelings to not invade his privacy or be toxic around him... I would block him.

I dont want to be anywhere I'm not wanted or where my advances are not wanted because I can't hide my feelings well and would rather not have to in the first place.
