Would you care if a girl you have no interest in blocked you?

I like this guy. I feel like at some level he might like me too but he rejected me, so that kinda holds me back from thinking that way. A few months ago I blocked him for leaving me on delivered after reaching out to me first. He sent me a bunch of messages at three different times apologizing, afterwards. He even tried to be in a place where he had no business being in that I was at. He went up to me once he got the chance and asked " are you just not going to reply to my messages?"

I'm really confused. He acted as if I'm something that's important to him but turn around and told me he doesn't want me romantically. Am I overthinking?

( English isn't my first language, so mistakes is inevitable. please understand)

Maybe he wants you as a friend. He doesn't want you romantically. Maybe he's just being a whiny punk who is butthurt he got blocked.

Personally if someone blocks me I'd never give her the time of day after that, but he seems desperate.
