I can't see any difference between the G string and the T. In fact they look exactly alike. I think the "G" comes from what the thong looks like from a SIDE view and the T from what it looks like from the back view.

BOTH creep in between your butt cheeks, rub against your anus and are uncomfortable. If you want perfect looking "cheeks" a good pair of bikini or granny panties show off your butt just as well and don't ride up or in. They also don't cost $13 apiece for a 10th of the material.

But hey, I guess they're worn to be taken off before sex. I suppose if you only have them on for an hour or so they're tolerable. But do I need to show off my ass when I'm stocking shelves, typing letters, gardening, making groceries or washing my car?

I don't need to sexualize myself so EVERYONE can see. That's inappropriate. My hotness is for me and my partner. Unless I'm on the Red Carpet, it's superfluous.

Actually sweetie, thongs are really quite comfy, and given that about 6 years ago (age 12) I wore close to what you described as “grannies” I can attest that modern thongs are WAY more comfy than those, in my opinion. Granted at first when we had to wear thongs in gymnastics (to hide the panty lines) I thought they felt like a prison assault in a garment. But I got used to them, and found myself wearing my “gymnastics competition only” thongs whenever I wore something like leggings or stretch jeans, because I needed to hide a panty line, eventually mom found out, and given that I was asking forgiveness not permission, I began wearing thongs almost exclusively at age 14. Now I think it’s about 50/50 full coverage vs thong. As for the comfort; there is honestly no comparison between cheap Chinese cotton, and the quality fabrics used in today’s undies. Also, most of us wear them for ourselves, to make ourselves feel sexy (our secret) it’s not to turn some guy on… at 18 there is no need to wear anything special to impress guys to turn them on, late teen early 20’s guys are turned on by default. But I just thought I’d share a different point of view with someone who was so helpful to me in the past.

@CrazyGirl2 Never wore a thong to impress anyone. Tried them to see what the hooplas was about when they came out. No cheap chinese cotton, either. I always buy good underwear that lasts. I don't wear granny panties, as I said. I always have worn bikinis: low riders and string bikinis.. They fit better and give a smooth look. 100% cotton is my pref and good quality. In fact, now that I think of it, I need to buy some new underwear... You've inspired me.

Thongs don't make me feel sexy. I just feel sexy because I feel good about myself.

Panty lines don't bother me in the least. As long as your underwear isn't so tight you're bursting out of it, those lines shouldn't be muted anyway. Sometimes, I go commando. No lines, no panties!
