hahaha I asked my crush this very same question ! And he said he'd buy it, but only in emergency cases. I'm sure guys would feel weird the first time they'd get it, but they'll do it, once they get over how it's not really a big deal to him or the cashier ringing him through :)
my fiance has had to before, and he had to get me pads as well and stool softeners afte rI ad our baby. he was so understanding and only a little embarrassed when the pharmacist was telling him how the softeners worked lol it could be SO much worse than TAMPONS!
What a loser. He's probably a good guy, but he's just never done it before so it freaked him out. I've never had to do that for a girl, but I would in a heartbeat. It's no big deal, women are humans, periods are part of being a human female what does he expect? Besides it feels nice to do something for your girl anyway.
Yea tampons is no big deal. If people stared at me funny for buying sh*t for my lady I would stare them down back till they minded their own business.

I have no problem with buying pads or any other feminine products but tampons are another thing. Now before anybody goes loosing there shit I will give my explination. I find tampons to be intrucious objects that do pretty much the exact same thing as pads minus the intrucious part and wore for less time. Unlike tampons pads dont have to be inserted inside the vagina intruding a women's sacred place. Call me old fashion but history has show the only two things that should and actually need to be inside or coming out of a women's vagina are a penis or a offspring. It's like if a women uses a dildo that would lower ones self esteem like really me being inside you isn't enough... my mouth and hands aren't enough for you. I find it kind of ridiculous that a women would need a object almost the shape of a penis inside there vagina when they have the one they love and want to spend the rest of there life with more than capable of doing the same thing or even if it's just fling or some shit. On a ending note there are so many different kinds and types of pads out there that all women can find one that will fit them. Also 99% of women in China and probably other countries as well don't even use tampons.
Guys are known to freak out about it. Most guys freak out about it.
I on the other hand don't care. Most people know the deal. Guys won't think "post op" and will think "girlfriend". It actually signifies that you're getting some.
You might want to run it by him again and say "hey don't feel weird about it, all they'll think is your getting some".
It could go from a source of embarrassment embarrassment to a source of pride.
However logical that may sound, most guys are embarrassed by it so he very well could think "ok, but everyone else is embarrassed to do it so I will seem like a fool to the rest of the guys out their."
Even my dad told me that the first time he did it he was embarrassed.
Big and small, young and old ... guys are embarrassed.
The embarrassment is as old as tampons them selves.
I've done it plenty of times, and not just for my girlfriend/previous girlfriends and other female friends. Guys shouldn't freak out, since people usually know (especially cashiers) that the girlfriend/female friend are the ones who need them, and not the actual guy himself (obviously). Most people think that's chivalrous, since it's sort of like helping a damsel in distress.
How would I feel? I'd feel hope that the cashier I use is male and ugly. That way I can mock him by saying, "I have a girlfriend, here's the proof, and I bet you don't, ha ha." :p jk.
I really honestly wouldn't mind. The worst anyone would think is "that guy's girlfriend is on her period, I guess he's using protection."
I was raised by a single mom, so I was the only male in the house since my only sibling is a sister. Maybe that skews my view a bit. But it doesn't seem odd to me at all. I mean, my mom had me running those kinds of errands for her to the grocery store across the street when I was as young as 14. It just doesn't seem weird to me at all. I mean, what's so embarrassing about it? It's obviously not for you.
I've been dating my current girlfriend for a little over three months and she was surprised when I told her I would buy pads for her without her even asking me to. I work in retail myself and usually get them at the store I work at. I've even gotten some positive responses from female co-workers that know who I'm getting them for.
i've done it, its no big deal... its not a secret that girls have periods and need stuff to deal with that, hell, one could be proud for doing that because that means a guy has developed a trusting relationship with a female who is comfortable enough to do this.
My ex did. I never even asked him. I just told him I needed to go to the store to get something (I was too embarrassed to tell him), but I was in severe pain from cramps which he knew about. He offered to go to the store at 1 am and get me tampons...
I would never date a guy who would have issues with such a thing...

maybe this is why your boyfriend freaked out lol just talk to him about it a little bit and tell him what you want exactly, like kotex or tampax, and stay cool, hell see that he has nothing to owrry about if you make joke about it

I have gotten tampons for both my lady at the time and myself while when I train, I do martial arts and tampons tend to be very useful for stopping nosebleeds quickly and efficiently.

I would. It shouldn't really be a big deal. They are kind of a necessity in life. It's not like people are really going to look down up you about buying them. Some guys are just immature or real lazy.

i feel bad when his friends call him whipped! he's just being a nice guy. but then again his friends are all single sleazebags (most of them anyways ;p).
I'd be fine with it, but a bit worried that I'd spend an awkward 15 minutes standing like an idiot in the tampon aisle with a confounded expression as I tried to figure out what brand/type she wanted.
I have made the purchase for my lady. I think he over reacted. It is part of nature, and not much different than buying toilet paper.

Sorry, but I'd never ask my boyfriend to get me tampons. I think that's something you'd ask your husband after several years of marriage and maybe even kids. I mean, there's not even an equivalent of something women would have to buy that's embarrassing to get men.
It's not a huge deal, but I don't understand how you couldn't have something on you 24/7. I'm always prepared, so for me it's a non-issue.

i remember ..i was at a male cousin's place and I needed some but he was so freaked out when I asked him to help me get some...he seemed so uneasy about it ..anyway I ended up going myself ..but I was very uncomfortable on the way to the store ..i was thinking what if I get stained ..you know .. it was so awkward.

I've done it for my mother when I was 10 or so, I've done it often for my wife (in one French town, Toulouse, the brand and type she's used to was difficult to find, I had to do 5 or 6 shops to find them.) No big deal.

I used to work at wal-mart and I had guys buying them all the time. The young guys always had a harder time buying condoms, always commenting on the size and how many they were going to need to their friends. Tampons almost seemed easy.
I think most guys would, but men get confused down that aisle. Hey, women get confused down that aisle. There is a lot of terminology that goes into buying those!

Yep, I've bought them for both my girlfriend and niece along with a boatload of midol. I usually joke with the cashiers, I always tell them "yeah, it's that time of the month" or "I have a bad case of himroids, they always chuckle at me... lol.
Kinda i would but i wouldn't since i can't afford much because im a poor 13 year old white boy but if she gave me the money i would its just because i dont want to spend money on her since we haven't been together for long and if i spend money on her and a week or 2 later we break up it would be a waste of my money
