why or why not?
how old are you?
how long have you been dating? (if you have a girlfriend)
Yes I would and she would not have to be desperate either. If I was going to a place that sold them and she was like can you buy them I would. I would have no problem with it. I don't find it embarrassing at all. I am 31 and no I don't have a girlfriend but if I did I would buy them. People in the supermarket (or wherever you're buying them) won't take any notice and if they want to imply some sort of screwed up thought about why a guy is buying tampons well they simply need to grow up. The checkout operator won't really even give it much thought either and if he/she wants to make fun well good for them. It would only show how immature they are. I personally don't feel that most people would behave in that way anyway and quite apart from that isn't the least you can do for your girl during that time of the month is go buy her some tampons if she needs them. I would have no shame what so ever going out and buying them.
Yes.
There really isn't anything you shouldn't be able to do for a woman you love

Sure and I would buy it for a friend or family members. I am having troubles realizing why its a big deal? I am 21. I went to Wal-mart with my girlfriend and got condoms. We went to the cash out line and the lady in front said "If you only have one item you can go in front of us". What was even more awkward was the 16 year old cashier with a huge grin the entire time. He even said "Have a good night!" with his grin. If I could do that and not feel embarrassed than buying a tampon isn't a big deal.
hahahahaha(:
In typical bastard fashion, I would say no. I would happily buy her pads, though. I just don't like tampons. They make me feel sick and..well it just bothers me, stuffing a wad of cotton up there..like putting a cork stopper in a bottle. Being a male I'll never understand what it is like to suffer with a period, but I still think if I had to experience a similar thing, I would stuff things up..wherever it may come from, I'd simply pad it out.
Yes, I'm sorry if that statement offends any females out there, feel free to vote down and think angry thoughts. :)
But in a pinch, I would happily nip round the shops and such to buy pads for my girlfriend, as I have done before. You don't get as many weird looks as you'd think, so hurray. :)
I agree your wording was brilliant. I don't think its a big deal, I don't think guys should worry about it. its cute, and I honestly think its more embarrassing for girls to buy tampons. at least if I guy buys them, they know its not for the guy.
when a girl buys them, everyone in the store now knows she's on her period.
am I right?
That's true. All girls together though, it might be easier for you if you had a female assistant check the item through for you? :)
I can't really think of anything a guy would have to buy in a store that could potentially be embarassing, aside from condoms. And even then, most guys only feel embarassed if they have friends or family with them, or they know the guy behind the counter.
Unfortunate, girls. I never thought about the embarassing part of buying them, before. :)
true. I always try to find a female cashier., that I hopefully don't know!i think that would be less embarassing for guys too.
Probably, but that would depend on the person though. Mushrooms, onions and pineapple? Absolutely gross! Ewwwwwuh!
Though my girlfriend likes them, though not mushrooms too much. I think tampons are gross because of what you do with them. At the same time, pads are gross as well. The whole thing is gross if you were to look at it from a strangers view point, I suppose.
I don't mind it though. Just keep those tampons away from me. They expand in water. No wonder girls like them.
yes I'd happily buy some for a girl/lady . want me to buy yours for you? I believe guys should get more involved in a girls period. can I get involved in yours please.
yes, she wouldn't have to be desperate.
because people do things for each other in a relationship

single now. started dating at 15.
i would buy my girlfriend/wife tampons any day any time,i would even wash her undies don't care if I love her those things don't matter.
I've not ever brought tampons but have pads, I wouldn't have a problem buying them for any girl who needed them, I'd prefer to go to tesco for example than the local tesco express as I'm reasonably well known and I might go a bit red. I'm 25, single.
Yes.
Why wouldn't I?
21.
I don't have a girlfriend.
only if I had to, I'm 22 and no girlfriend or wife
i would hope so. I mean, it's not a big deal
