I see that some girls like Kpop guys, but I don’t understand why?

They've got studies on this. On the macro, it is roughly affected by how well their needs are currently taken care of.

We already knew about this with guys, where guys in starving cultures like heavier women, or women with more exaggerated feminine features.

In this case, on the macro, women like more traditionally masculine features in economic downturn, and more effeminate features in richer places. And I think guys feel similarly. Supposedly the resurgence of beards coincides pretty closely with the 2008 economic collapse.

There also seems to be a trend towards specific types of androgyny in places like cities. Probably lining up with traditionalism vs modernism. In the city, its generally more about thin, clean shaven, and more well fitting clothing. Like Timothee Chalamet. In the country, there's more of a trend towards bigger, hairier, more rugged, like Wolverine as a lumberjack.

But hey, I'm not gonna look a gift horse in the mouth. It's nice knowing when women like variety rather than some oddly specific singular definition of a man. Though I'm a city guy who looks better with a beard, so I'm not sure what to do with that. Probably lose weight

I think part of it is because Japan was bombed into submission during WW2, forbidden from having a military, and quickly took on a very pacifistic societal outlook. On top of that, Japan became extremely wealthy during the 80s leading to decadence and the prominence of more white-collar types over the blue-collar.

I don't like it very much since I think men should be ready to fight. A country with very weak men is one ready to be conquered by another as I see it. When I was a boy in the early 80s, a less androgynous look was still popular with many women like Hiroshi Abe:

He's 6'2 and has more of a manly image. Yet that sort of look is really declining in popularity here over the androgynous look. I think it's similar to the rise of metrosexual types in urban parts of the US although taken to greater extremities.

There's also a change in trends since I was a boy here for women as well. The mature and sophisticated type of woman is declining in popularity over the cute and giggly sort of girl. So it might not just be about androgyny but also favoring a more neotenous, teenage-style look even among adults for both sexes.

Also, I think some influence stuck more from the 80s in Japan. There was lots of gender-bending during the 80s throughout the world, like with rock stars:

as for the second image, someone had a poll that asked whether or not women found that guy actually attractive. last i checked, i believe 94% said no.

usually the girls that are into the femboys are the type who are really into kpop and anything korean related.

He got a plastic surgery as his company forced him to and now he got that creepy look even though he didn't wanted that. However it depends from girl to girl. Ultimately it just comes down to personal preference, this happens a lot in Asian cultures because of the popularity that surrounds that subgenre.

Because everyone has different types? I like guys who are more masculine but I’m not attracted to people with big beards or with huge muscles. Some people like more feminine guys because that’s guys what they’re naturally attracted to and that’s ok!

Some girls just think they look better. Personally, I LOVE feminine/androgynous looking men, especially if they’re clean-shaven and have longer hair. I never really liked facial hair. Also, I prefer lean guys over buff people (likely because I’m younger) so there’s that.
