I think everyone is stubborn or hardhead depending on the subject or circumstances, so being stubborn is not a bad thing and actually it can safe your ass from a lot of trouble. Now the listening to reason part is the where people get themselves caught or hung up over.

I like to think I can listen to reason as much as anyone, but there are just some things or circumstances when someone else's reasoning doesn't stand up to scrutiny and honestly there are some intuitional and social influence in the world today that really challenges common sense.

In most cases I just ask myself is the hill you choose to dies on today? Is this the battle you want to fight, or does it really matter? In most cases the answer is NO, and you just go with the flow.

I am stubborn; but I am willing to listen to reason. I just have spent a good amount of time looking into things and pondering them; such that you need some good arguments to convince me to change my mind.
