Girls, what kind of shoes do women prefer during the summer if any?

I wear the same shoes I wear during every other season. Sneakers. I don’t like to wear sandals or any of those other open toed shoes. If I’m at home, I will wear socks.


My casual go-to are vans or converse. On a semi casual date night, I will wear heeled booties. On a very fancy (rare) occasions, I will wear heels.


I don’t go to the beach or anywhere where I have to walk into water, so there’s no point in having sandals. If I do walk into water, I will wear crocs because I hate the feeling of the beach or wet sand and dirt. Just a sensory thing for me.

I wear sneakers like 90% of the time, no matter what time of the year it is 😅

So yeah, I wear them during the summer too. Unless I'm going to the beach or I'm at home, that's when I wear Adilette lol. If I had some niece occasion where I need to dress formally, I wear heeled sandals.

At work, I wear flats. If I am going casual somewhere say for lunch, strap type sandals.

No, I work in a doctors office so air conditioned. Never had that problem with flats. Now, after work when it is really hot? Yes, of course, which is why I mostly go sandals in the spring/summer months if not at work.

Oh, yeah I would see why. If I had to pick one type of shoe to wear all the time and it didn't matter work or otherwise, sandals it would be. Just due to climate makes the most sense.
