At the beginning of the year, I met this girl. it seemed there was a thing. So I asked her out, and she said yes. We went out, I thought it would be a great opportunity to see her without mask. The thing is that she didn't take her mask off the whole date. This date gave me mixed feelings , I liked her , but I wasn't attracted to her. So there wasn't really no attraction tho she was someone who I really liked. SO we continued speaking to each other. But came at time where conversation became lame. She became uninterested (i didn't see it ) . Since I didn't know I kind of became the annoying guy to her (creep, the guy who would take every opportunity to speak to her ) . When I realized that, I Backed off , stopped talking to her IRL and by deleting her off Instagram (to show her in an implicit way that I wasn't going to be part of her life anymore). So now we don't speak anymore. I think it's for the best.
Recently masked were made unrequited. My friend said to me that she would take her mask off in very classes except The classes where she is in class with me.
I feel bad for giving her anxiety, feeling embarrassed. I want her to feel okay having rejected me now that i realised it.

I mean, young girls are always anxious and insecure about how they look, especially around the boys they like. If you have always seen her with a mask on, she might be scared about how you will think of her without a mask. Plus, you said you aren’t attracted to her… So…. There’s that.

She isn't interested in me. Personally, I don't really want us to continue to speak (each time I was the conversation maker). I would say hi to her when she didn't (would look at me with a mad eyebrow face+ mask as if I did something wrong), Would always intiate contact, would act is she hadn't seen me , would avoid me. I'm sorry but some things just need to end for both our good. I don't aspire to be the "Annoying guy" .
I am kind of still into her , only when i see her. Just a never-ending mystery : and what if she is beautiful and what if... . I don't think she hates me I just think she thinks of me as the nice friendly annoying guy who is madlly in love with her.

She may or may not be insecure. If she is, you seeing her face gives her anxiety. She also may not be into you and thinks you are weird/obsessive. For your sake, I'd like to think that she is just shy and insecure (not that that's fun for her). Honestly, be kind to her, as well as supportive. Express to her how you feel; communication is always key!
