Women that want equity want the world handed to them even though they didn't deserve it

There are lot of long time built in advantages women have over men that they completely take for granted.

When a woman says she’s wants “equality” then i think “okay I’ll treat you the same way i would treat another man”. Sure i will pay you equal (i already do). Sure I’ll trust you to get a job done the same way a man will. But I’ll also:

- show you the same hostility I would show a man for misbehaving.
- reprimand you the same way I would reprimand a man for screwing up at work
- I’ll expect you to pay your half on excursions. I won’t do too many unreciprocated favors.
- I’ll expect you to fix your own car and plumbing. - I’ll tell you to “man up” if you are overly emotional.
- If you don’t show to a meeting (including a date) I won’t tolerate you saying “I wasn’t feeling it” as an excuse to flake out.
- I’ll speak to you directly about what I do and don’t want.
- I’ll lose respect for you if you accept any state sponsored “identity” programs
- put you on the front lines in a military conflict
- hit you back if you hit me first and so on

The problem is most feminists are completely unaware of these special privileges they have being female. When they are challenged on them they are either dismissive and/or do some mental gymnastics to justify them. They don’t want to give these privileges up

They have no idea what they want. And it's really adding to the difficulty of everyday life right now. They need to all get together and talk it out first and then make their demands.

Very unpopular view that I have but the whole "#metoo" movement was a joke. At first everyone could have got onboard with it but then they started babbling and got confused on what they wanted and then they were confused with the taste of power and it all went to shit. If they would have shut up after their first set of demands, they could have had it and it all would have been back to normal. Now we have all these branches of weird feminism BS. Now if we see a duck and we get call it a duck we get smacked and told "it's obviously not a duck. It's clearly a North American Peking Duck" and now men are stupid in their eyes even though no such duck exists.

I never understood the concept of feminism really. I understand the base form but the morphed and modern version is confusing. I'm humanitarian and I believe in balance. Balance is much better than equality or equity in my opinion. I cannot hope to be equal with my fellow men because we are not made to be the same. However, if we both seek to balance energies, things will be alright. But hey, that's just my humble opinion. So no poll choice for me.

There are different types of feminism, some types I don’t appreciate like “Radical / Extremist” Feminist groups vs I do appreciate “Non-Radical / Non-Extremists” Feminist groups. There is a big difference in terms of values, beliefs, ideology’s, standards. Same goes for the Meninists groups having 2 types.

There isn't really a universal answer. Some feminists want everything. Some want very little. I would say closing he pay gap is probably the main concern and beyond that things will work themselves out.

The difference between me, a anarcha feminist and the goals of liberal feminists is that liberal feminists think it’s possible for equality to be achieved within the capitalist system despite the fact that the capitalist system is the very system that allowed patriarchy to exist in the first place back when the transition from capitalism to feudalism was made.
