She already told me she didn’t see a romantic connection but just being in her Presence she smiled turned her head and looked down. I wasn’t expecting that but I rolled with it.. We ended up talking for about 45 min. How many women here sidelines a guy be it just getting out of a relationship or exploring other options?

I've done it but you never know the best relationships come from getting to know the person more and more everyday. Friends first and then maybe something could happen. I have the same thing happening to me at the moment with a guy. I don't see a romantic connection, but we can talk for hours and he calls me every single day whether I answer or not and the fact that he hasn't brought up that he likes me helps me be more comfortable. I don't feel any pressure from him because I can tell he will be okay with or without me. So that's attractive, and I like the confidence of calling me everyday. I have to say my feelings could grow but as for now I know I love being single at the moment

I think more and more about what you said.. I feel like she's kinda putting the brakes on deep down I know she knows I like her she showed that as soon as I walked in the door.. but I felt she dropped little hints.. like I loved the food so she went and told me that she will tell her step=mother that you loved the sauce and the mango sticky rice. And the fact that when the place should of been closed we had a nice talk.. I ended up telling her I needed to go because I saw she was tired and I know she wanted a little downtime.

So let me ask you so on the days he texts and you don't respond by phone or text do you get annoyed? I don't want to seem needy but giving her space as well.

I’m a little confused by your question. Thing is he lives 4 hours away so it’s long distance. He has put effort into meeting up twice already. We don’t text all day because I have walls up. I am still healing from my previous relationship. I appreciate his efforts in always reaching out by calling me but we don’t text at all because I don’t initiate nor do I continue. I would say try not to overthink too much. If you want to call her and text her then do it. You’ll see how she responds back. If you two are enjoying each other’s company then that’s amazing. Enjoy each other and let things slowly unfold. Get to know each other as friends, likes and dislikes

Yeah when I went to see her I told her I drove an hour just to come out to see her I felt she was touched she was like aww. Next week we will see each other 4 days out of the week I feel it’s enough time but not so much that it’s too much you know? It’s just her actions that she shows she’s trying to put the brakes on. I do enjoy our talks she gets to know a little bit about me and her a little bit more about me.
