Why is this girl always making me wait at counter to put my coffee order in?

This girl and I have clicked so easily and she doesn't know me that well. I even took a massive gamble and added her on facebook and she accepted it. But I've noticed she makes me wait at the counter to take my order. Eventhough she isn't that busy and she knows my order. Why is she only making me wait at the counter all the time. She is still been nice to me too

Maybe she is waiting until things catch up a bit so she had time to say more than a few words to you?

She just started giving me a big smile and wave when she didn't know me. Like acting overly excited to see me and making an effort. She has asked me questions like where I live, where I grew up. She has even asked me how my job application is going

Why don't you make eye contact with her next time you see her, smile & ask her?
