Why do women who strip decide to do it for a living?

A huge multitude of reasons.

There is often not a simple reason.

Also even within ‘stripping’ there are levels to it, from those that just strip to a variety of girls that dance.

a lot of the time it’s the fact they are good at say dancing, can get a good amount of money, pay off student debt or fund university.

Then for some it’s purely the cash and how much they can make as opposed to working in a shop.

unemployment has a large influence in it all, when the actual available jobs shrink and only certain ones are available, you need to pay the rent, mortgage etc.

It comes down to money. Depending on the clubs and their individual skill as a dancer and conversationalist, they can take up some big dollars. They can probably make more than someone outside the club working a 9 to 5.

Now whether that money is being used to pay off debts they own, bills, schooling, possible addictions is another story. It's a job at the end of the day. Let them do what they want to do. They will be the ones to decide I'd it is something they want to do as long as they can or if it is temporary.

It's a job! Some girls are extroverted enough to do it or they simply just like the attention they get from it. Personally, I wouldn't but I can totally see the attraction to it, having people admire you for cash. I have a friend who used to be a stripper and she said she did it to pay the bills, the attention made her feel better when she was feeling low but she hated the sexism and things that were said to her.

For the same reason anyone does anything for a living. They need money to meet expenses, and that was the most attractive choice. It pays a lot better than other entry level jobs.
