I got invited to a dance but I'm a pretty bad dancer lol. What kind of dances are there that are nice to know how to do?

Oooh, thanks!! honestly almost anything. Mainly country and pop tho. Some rap.

@bbear07 Have a passion for the style of music is a must. Building that emotion to feel that routine.

I'd recommend a freestyle class for pop/rap you may also like street dance but I'd say start with freestyle, all the above is choreographed to level.
Also ballroom may be good, skills that won't fade, if you're looking to learn set routines, ballroom branches out to rock n roll, samba, swing, jive, mambo etc.

I'd avoid ballet classes but if you like the emotional side contemporary classes, start every at beginners, some school push to feel their advance classes, you can move up when skills and confidence grows 💕

thank u sm for all the useful tips!! I went to the dance and it was amazing... I did lots of freestyle, and there was a tango demonstration and one of my friends taught me swing dancing. thanks sm!
