I mean it's no shit that "straight" implies not attracted to same sex. But when you see others in passion, do you feel bad for the guy? Like I'm always thinking the poor girl must be disgusted by him.

No we don't. Don't forget that girls tend to fantasize more about relationships and stuff than guys, so concerning kissing a guy each girl imagines it in her own. However when it really happens to kiss, you are unsatisfied as you thought it was gonna be as you imagined it. Girls logic lol

I understand that a muscular ripped guy looks better than an obese guy. But I wouldn't ever imagine myself kissing either. When I see couples kissing, I wonder how tf the girl likes him?
