What does it mean when a woman asks, “how do we look”?

Last week, I went to my friend’s wedding. Before, I went to where my friend’s wedding at. A group of 3 women wearing black, and 2 men was exiting the building. One of the women asks me, “how do we look?” I told her, “they look great.”
