Why would she tell me this before I never see her again?

This girl used to tease me a lot and she’s always implied that she’s cared about me but has never openly said it until recently. We’re both girls and she’s touched my shoulder recently and she’ll still joke with me. I think she really cares about my feelings. She al and wants me to talk to her and gets upset when I don’t or when I talk to another guy about my problems. She gets jealous and tries to tell on me.

I just found out that she’s leaving the job and I’ll only see her a couple of more times. I’m heartbroken because I really like her snd I feel like she likes me too. We’ve had some stuff happen and I think she thinks I don’t like her because I shrug her off a lot. last week she told me she didn’t want me to be uncomfortable and I think she might’ve said she cared about me ( we were alone ) but then we got interrupted.

Yesterday she brought me some inventory boxes. We have this inside joke where she calls them presents and I don’t like when she brings them lol and 8 tell her that. Yesterday she told me she was bringing me “presents” which were boxes and she said she was bringing them to me because she cared about me lol which made no sense.

Did she just want me to know that she cares about me? Lol why would she say that?
