Attraction is key. You yourself have your own attractions, and repulsions, and everything in between. Shyness is something that can be overcome. What else does the person have to offer?

That’s true thanks for sharing your opinion. I’m just curious because for me personally I can make conversation and joke but I’m not overly loud on a first date like I prefer to have a conversation to get to know the girl rather than just bantering and flirting the whole date.

So you are interested in more driven girls. That should make it easier to find them. Use your likes to your advantage. Trim the rest out. They will understand you better anyway.
