Hm, he's gotta know how to cook, clean, organize his space. Communication is vital. Some handiwork (basic repairs, installing things, power tool use is cool), some tech literacy (knows how to use a PC), and well-read.

Basically, he needs the skills to be able to live on his own, live with someone else, and thrive in his own life.

I've dated two men so far who had very few skills, and nearly zero life skills. It's a big reason I'm off the man train, right now (but the honest reason is I'm exploring my sapphic side and am tired of straight men). It's a hamper on making a life together if he couldn't have a life on his own.

Technology or gardening, especially gardening because it's something I'm personally very bad at. But honestly I think the most attractive "skill“ for any guy is the skill of keeping a job and paying the bills.
