simply put... because they can afford it

and also because it is all relative, the same person that pays 6 dollars for underwear or 12 dollars for a pack on pieces of underwear... can very well be puzzled and ask themselves... why are there people paying 80 bucks for lingerie!!!

however, this particular piece just looks fugly and uninspired... lol
