How does a girl act when she is hurt?

As in hurt emotionally? I was a jerk to this girl, she says she is fine but her behavior has changed. Can you give me some of the signs?

She says she is fine. But I can tell just by the way she talks to me (and even other people, lets just say she isn't as chipper and it all started the day we argued) and by the lack of eye contact or even a hi that she isn't fine.

Well, she told me she didn't care if I talked to her or not ( of course, her actions say otherwise because we are always talking) and I told her I'd be very happy if I never saw her again. She can say whatevet she wants, maybe she meant it or not. I said mine out of anger just to upset her, of course I want to see her again. We haven't talked since, we just ignore each other. I can feel this weird feeling (maybe its me) that we want to talk, but are holding back

i could see her just logically deciding there is no reason to talk to you. not out of anger, ut for example if you said something against her character.. welll, that shows you guys are not actually friends or you don't respect her. I can't be friends with someone who does not respect me.

people often say what they MEAN, then it makes things difficult for them, so they wish they did not SAY it. but the important thing is it was what they were really thinking. I think what you think matters far more than what you say, because your actions, are based on your true thoughts, not your words.

she does not have to be hurt or angry, with you to have changed. she could have decided, OK, that's what e really thinks, I have no reason to pretend we are friends. that's that. & she washes her hands of you.

who cares if you never SAY it again.. she knows what you really think.

I do not say things to people that I do not mea. if I am very irritated by their behavior, I may call them on it when I would not normally care- but it tops a limit, the pint where it becomes time consuming& disrespectful, then I tell them what I am thinking,it is not that I pretended not to care earlier its that up to a pint I do not care. once it crosses over- I talk. tho I do try to keep things honest & direct before that happens. let people know things casually in pieces to avid overload of info in one instance.

if I were her, & I thought you meant it, I would not be angry. id be glad I knew what you really thought, so that I do not have to waste my time pretending to be friends.

Whats the point. there is enough truth abut people that will insult them, if that's your aim.

Usually if it was over something very petty then harsh words are easier to get over but if it was over something very important to the both of you or a question of the others character then things are harder to forget because they are closer to the heart.

Why did she tell you she did not care if you talk to her or not? that is an odd thing to say for no reason. you are leaving out context- is that on purpose or do you not realize it matters?

Well, somedays we will talk all day and have fun. Others she will not talk to me. Since we talk almost everyday, it just feels odd. She will say "oh I'm just tired" fine, I leave her alone.5 min later somebody else comes along and she doesn't look too tired to talk. I ask what's up, she says nothing. Then I tell her I should just stop talking, and then she replies with the statement above.

ses playig games. no one would say that unless they were trying to be a jerk. what she did was really rude. if I were you, id stop talking to her. if she wants to apologize, you can decide if you want to go on talking, but so far, she is the jerk/ bitch not you.

I know. I feel bad for saying that, I'm not a jerk like her. That's why I haven't apologized, if she feels like that, its cool. I do care about her feelings and by the way she is acting I can tell it affected her because now she doesn't even talk to her "im not tired" friends and has kind of a pissed off/hurt look on her face for a week now.

she is the person who should apologize-not you. you obviously were hurt / insulted by she instigated. she is showing no consideration towards your feelings.

dont apologizer. If anyone should, it is her. if she does not, she is not worth your time.

I don't let anyone if I'm hurt emotionally. I'll deal with it on my own. I won't go out of my way to talk to the person who hurt me or even want to talk to them much. I'll try to keep the conversation short with the person.

Maybe she's not fine with you. Depending on what you said to her, she may not forgive you. I don't really ever forgive someone for saying something extremely mean to me. If someone says something mean to me and they act like they mean it, I won't want to talk to them.
