India is a VERY diverse country & there is NO one skin tone. Only an idiot would say a Punjabi looks like a Tamilar (Tamil) as an example. And even in the north there are different skin tones, a Gujarati may not look like someone closer to Bengal as Bengalis can be quite dark.

You realize that Indian “skin tone” varies widely by region? I think you are stereotyping Indian people in general. I am very light skin toned in comparison to what I think you are talking about.

Darker skintones are beautiful just as much as fairer skintones.

Although, I think it depends on the actual features whether or not they are attractive.
