Why did he suddenly left me on delivered?

I opened his message after 23h and when I replied to him he left me on delivered for 6 days?

Did he get mad or something? Is he being petty? His message didn’t really even require an answer

I actually even changed my dp picture that day and he probably saw it. I was busy that day and his message was very simple that didn’t require an answer. When I got home 11pm I replied to him (I asked him a question to continue the conversation) I got left on delivered lol.

I then deleted my message to him after being 6 days on delivered

He is probably hurt and thinks that you were ignoring him. If you were busy, you could simply let him know that. You said you changed your profile photo but didn't answer him, so he definitely thought you were ignoring him since you were online but didn't answer.

If his message was short and simple it would take you a few seconds to answer it. One thing is being busy, and not being on the phone but if you were on your phone and saw his message but chose to ignore it, it's another story.

Like I said if he saw that you were active but didn't answer his message he probably thought that you are ignoring him.

Or he wanted to ”punish” me for replying late. It’s not the first time that it’s happened. One time he messaged me 1pm. I then replied after midnight almost 1am 😅 then it took him almost 2 days to reply to me.
