Girls, A girl said she thinks about me a lot part 2 (I took your advice and need it again)?

Ok so hello again, in the last question I asked - A girl who I have been best friends with for 1.5 years said that she thinks about me a lot, how should I reply?

You guys told me to just ask her what she meant by that instead of making assumptions, so I did, and she gave an equally vague reply - "When i am with you alone I feel like I can bury all my secrets and stupid little day to day anecdotes in you and it would be safe from the world" and "I was just thinking about you again, and i was like hmmm i think about this guy a lot to the point of thinking about him before going to bed (*These messages were sent by her in the middle of the night). So i felt an obligation to inform you"

Being equally as confused as last time about how I can reply to this, I turn to this community again to look for answers.

Why not just shoot your shot? I think the issue is , is you keep getting vague answers because you aren’t stepping up and being entirely honest either. She’s going to keep aiming hints at you until you become at least a little vulnerable yourself and make a move.

You think so? Ok so one thing that really bothers me is that other friends have also told me the same thing, she is giving me hints. On a few occasions, she has made it clear that we are just friends, but then on the other hand her hints hint towards the fact that she wants to take it forward. I am so confused. This is not exactly the first time, more like the 20th time that she has given me hints. But like i don't want to act on anything because she has said a few times that we are friends.

I would honestly ask. If she says that you are just friends, ask her why she’s constantly acting flirty towards you like she wants more.

Maybe ask in person if you see her in person? Lol don’t be afraid. It all comes down to nerves of being rejected, but honestly what’s there to lose? I know you enjoy your friendship with her, but it seems like you want more and the only way you can get an answer is if you just cut the nerves and ask lol more than likely she seems interested in something , but the issue is , is most girls will wait until the guy makes the move to make a move
