Am I truly pretty?

I mean when I look in the mirror I think I'm pretty. I get people doing double takes etc.

However rarely do people have a crush on me/like me.

Isn't that odd? I must not be that pretty then.

Every country has its own criteria of beauty and then it narrows down to every region and further to every individual.

You are pretty, but not everyone will think that is true because you might not meet their criteria of beauty.

e. g Someone who's considered hot in
Europe won't be considered even
pretty in Africa.
Not because the person is truly ugly
but because European beauty
standards are almost the exact
opposite of African beauty standard.
(I'm not only talking about skin tones
because Africa has people with
different skintones, other features
are considered)

Be confident in yourself dude, it is actually kinda counterintuitive but somebody once told me that good looking people actually tend to get less compliments because they assume you get them all the time, knowing that can really boost ones self esteem. Just food fo thought I guess.

Having a crush /liking someone has a lot more to do with personality than looks. Doesn’t mean you don’t have a good personality , just may not have compatibility with people you interact with
