I look at the individual, not the gender. 4 Friends, let me describe their driving

One. Heidi, a defensive driver, follows the rules, I feel very safe with her as the driver

Two. Yolanda, a speed demon, she can park but speed bumps? She flies over those. We actually fly. Turns. She can drift. Pray to the heavens that you make it.

Tim. Master parker, knows the way, doesn't RACE like Yolanda would, but has a habit of swaying and having the urge to pass others by, he's an impatient driver, and that's when he speeds up and makes you feel like you're in a roller coaster.

Kevin. Very responsible driver, gets you there safely, doesn't break any rules.

It really depends on how you look at it. Women get in more fender bender type accidents, and men get in more fatal accidents. One could say men are worse by that standard because their accidents result in death more often.

On that same token, women are almost always the ones that use their cell phones while driving be it talking or texting.. Which is art of why there are more fender benders.

I thank God they made illegal for you to use your phone and drive without a hands free kit in my state.

As in accidents per mile? I think it's about equal. Women generally drive fewer miles so they have fewer accidents per year.

Data from the first few years of Uber indicates men are better drivers than women. On average, men complete trips more quickly without having a higher accident rate.

Not according to the women I know. In fact, two of them drove NASCAR for fun. What's your record like? ;-) I have never had a wreck and one ticket but 95 JAG speedometer was wrong ... my lawyer convinced them with no proof :-)

I wouldn't say all woman but I do think so. One they never plan ahead so they always rushing when they are driving, putting on makeup, usually the ones texting or talking on the phone while driving more than guys, and less cautious.

The last 3 accidents we have responded to were caused by male drivers, so probably female drivers are better drivers.

I don’t necessarily believe so. I’m horrible at night (bad eyes) but my ex wife was great.
