So, this girl I’ve been interested in for a while now looks at me daily (majority of the time I catch her staring, sometimes its the opposite), she is nervous around me (looks down, looks away when we make eye contact, sometimes she even has a nervous facial expression around me), she mirrors my body language (when I go somewhere, she goes there, if I’m swaying back and forth so is she), she shows positive body language, and she is always physically close to me, (sometimes too close, sometimes she walks towards me to get closer to me). But then she becomes cold and distant. She ignores me and stops acting interested apart from the glances when I’m not looking. Hell, even during this entire time she hasn’t said a word to me. She makes it seem like she had no interest in me to begin with. The moment I think she feels the same way she pulls back. What’s up?

She's shy and probably interested in you. Maybe if she felt like you weren't really interested or not putting in effort she distanced herself. It's a normal thing people do when they feel like nothing can really happen from it
