  Sorry Dry German Guy , I thought you was Nathan, sorry 2 both of u I got confused 4 a minute about which one of you lives here. So ya Dry German Guy there's a town called black Forrest here. My pa pa who passed away was stationed in Germany and he told me amazing stories about it.

  Not sure whom you’re replying to, but I was being ironic, because the Black Forest is a famous region in Germany. Obviously a German immigrant re-used the name in Colorado.

  Oh wow really. I like a few of their songs. It sucks here in the U. S they are mean. I did my DNA test with Ansestry and found out that I'm 40% German.

  I bought a CD or two from them and also liked a number of songs. I had to stop listening to Rammstein in the car though, because my driving got more aggressive. 😮
  Was your father with the Air Force? Then chances are, he was stationed at Ramstein Air Base. 🙂

  He was my grandpa and he was with the army. I can't remember the name where he was living at there. He told me so many stories for years lol. He showed me pictures and I just loved them. He was gonna take me to the autobahn but he died from pancreatic cancer 6 years ago he was almost 80.

  Sorry to read that, I hope you got to keep his pictures. If he was Army, then he was stationed in the South, Rhineland, Baden-Württemberg or Bavaria. The Bavarians we have to thank for the silly clichés of lederhosen and dirndl. 🙄
